Wow! I love this town! We're sitting on a beach of the Mediterranean and the sand is soft and the sun is bright. Oh yeah ... and there's half-naked women everywhere!

We got up this morning, got a quick "Croque Moissure" (grilled cheese with ham) for breakfast/Lunch and we rented an umbrella and two chairs and we've been here ever since!

At first, the only women who had their tops off were over 60 years old. Then, some younger women came along and ... let's just say that the only things my face is wearing is an extra-dark pair of sunglasses and a smile! =)

After we got off the beach, we went back to the hotel and cleaned up for dinner. It was then I realized that I didn't get sun tan lotion everywhere I thought! Parts of my shoulders and stomach are a little red and my feet and shins got the worst of it.

After nursing the sun burn with some "after sun" lotion we picked up in Rome, we went out for our nice dinner in Canes! We had a great meal and then went for a romantic walk next to the Mediterranean on "La Croisette." It was like their version of a boardwalk, except there was no boards and instead of overpriced t-shirt stores selling images of stoned sesame street characters, there were incredible-looking hotels overlooking the sea. There were also even a few parties on the beach under tents with tiki torches.

I don't have any digital pictures from today because I left the camera in the hotel for fear of getting all the pictures from the trip stolen or ruined. I was really kicking myself on the beach! =)

It was a great day!
